Eastern Iowa Arts Academy – Creek Choir (Fall 2023)

Prairie Creek students have an extra music opportunity this fall that is sponsored by the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy (EIAA). The Eastern Iowa Arts Academy is an after-school program that provides a positive fine arts experience. Mr. Dyrland will be hosting a music class/choir for 5th AND 6th grade students at Prairie Creek starting Tuesday, September 26th from 3:00-4:00pm in the General Music Room (Room A-121). The classes will be EVERY Tuesday after school with the final class ending on Tuesday, November 14th.  After the final class, there will be a special showcase performance for parents, family, and friends to join on Saturday, November 18th.  

The class fee is listed at $35, however, our aim is to provide opportunities for all students, regardless of ability to pay.  If your family is in need of assistance with the fee, use Promo code PRAIRIE2023 at checkout.

Unfortunately, transportation must be provided by parents/guardians.  Students will be unable to take the school bus home after rehearsals.  If this is an issue, please check with Mr. Dyrland as we have had some students hitch rides with other families who live in the same vicinity as one another.
