Creek Homecoming Parade Information

Students and staff get the opportunity to enjoy the homecoming parade on Friday, September 17th.  The parade begins at 1:45 pm.  Students will view the parade in front of Ridge Elementary.

Any student participating in the parade must have written permission from a parent.  All students in the parade must have a ride home and if that is with someone other than their parent please include that in the communication with the Creek office staff. If you plan on picking up your child prior to the parade they MUST be picked up before 1:00 as all the internal roads will be blocked off by 1:00.  Because of this change in schedule, we are requesting that you call the main office by noon on Friday if you are planning on picking up your child that day for any reason.  Please do not e-mail teachers as they may not have a chance to read their e-mail that day.  Contacting the office by noon will give the office staff time to communicate with homeroom teachers and ensure that your child will get to the appropriate locations.

Once the parade is over, students who are parent pick up will be walked over to the East parking lot at Prairie Hill Elementary by staff members.  Please wait until after the parade to park in the parking lot at Hill, as the parade will be staged in this area.

Bus riders who watch the parade with Creek staff will be walked by staff members to the buses. There are no Creek floats in the parade. All Creek students in the parade need to be supervised and picked up after the parade by parents. Please plan accordingly.
